We've teamed up with our friends Humble Bakery to bring you a delicious classic Christmas tradition, the Christmas Cake—a decadent, boozy and perfectly moist creation that celebrates the spirit of Christmas via a collaboration of friendship and expert craftsmanship.
The Ester x Humble Spiced Rum Christmas Cake has mixed dried fruit, glacè cherries and pitted dates, all soaked in Ester’s finest spiced rum, which won the title of World’s Best Spiced Cane Spirit at World Rum Awards 2024. It combines the best of booze and baking, delivering everything you want in your Christmas cake; rich, moist and flavourful.
The collaboration stems from a long-standing friendship between the owners of Ester, Corinna and Felix, and Humble's Elvis, Sarah and Ben. They’ve wanted to join forces for years so when Ester sought the perfect partner to bring their family Christmas cake recipe to life, Humble was their first call.
It serves 8–10 people and makes a delicious addition to any December celebration. Yes, you can enjoy it before Christmas and long after—though we doubt it’ll last that long!
But it’s more than just a cake—it’s about how and who you enjoy it with, so the team has created a recipe booklet with fun ways to enjoy this boozy taste sensation.
